Off Roading Ride : Pune-Mulshi-Tamhini-Lonavala Road

29th April was a nice day. We decided to do a practice off roading run prior to our Leh ride. This track was perfect some 30 kms and more.

Her bike did well offroading.

Then on a fairly ok metalled road, the bike skidded on a loose rock, fell flat on the side, trapping me n my wife under. My noose was bleeding n gushing like a water tap. Luckily, some 20 minutes, the bleeding stopped.

We were able to ride a further 30 kms despite bruises and abrasions to a Naval Hospital at INS Shivaji, Lonavala. The impact pain started to tell some time later.

While I laid down in a bed whrthing in pain, it was my wife who got the first priority from the attending staff of the hospital casualty department.

Surgeon Lieutenant Monika Saxena examined my nose and an x-ray revealved some furniture around the nose had got disturbed.
